"This was a terrific gig. I was there right up front in this small venue (Oasis played here early 1995). It felt like the band were playing for their lives. There was a great intensity to it. I think a lot of people came hoping to hear Wonderwall, but that’s their loss. A few memorable bits: “we’re Beady Eye and this is no folk show” (during For Anyone) “forever I’ll be by your side, ain’t that right Vancouver?” And Liam sitting on the drum riser in a complete sweat during the outro of Wigwam.
