Release Notes
From the tour accompanying the release of Noel's first solo album, a completely professionally recorded video will be released. The concert in Cologne on December 4, 2011, was completely recorded with perfect professional shots. The setlist is almost identical to the Japan performance. The only difference is whether "Whatever" was played; everything else is exactly the same, making it the perfect title for a memory of the Japan performance.
What's particularly noteworthy about this footage is the camera work. There's a lot of footage from shots that weren't captured by conventional professional shots, making it very impressive. For example, angles from the audience, angles from above the stage, and even close-ups of instruments accurately capture fingering, and other attempts to project screens. These new shooting techniques effectively convey the atmosphere of the day. Naturally, since it's a professional shot, the sound quality is also perfect with the soundboard. The album is packed with a rich, dense sound, and is of such high quality that it could easily have been released as an official release.
The content can only be summed up in one word: amazing. It was such an intense concert that you'd sigh after watching it. The audience and the stage became one, and the atmosphere was irresistible, as they enveloped the same space in the same worldview. Looking at the stage and seeing the rows of beautiful smiling faces in the audience, you can understand just how well-received Noel is in Germany. Some women were even moved to tears as they tried to sing along, and there were countless moving moments. During "Don't Look Back In Anger," the audience was so enthusiastic that Noel sang with a smile, a rare moment for him, and it was truly touching. Even taking into account the fact that this was a concert intended for recording, Noel gave his all on stage, and the fans responded with double the force, which must have made him very happy. At the end, there is a bonus interview with Noel. Since this was conducted in Cologne, where the concert took place, it comes with German subtitles.
This is a complete recording of the latest tour's pro shots from the Bayswater label, which carefully selects and releases wonderful soundboard and pro shot materials. The set list is almost the same as the Japanese performance, making it a memorable piece. A permanently preserved pressed DVD with a beautiful picture disc. The Bayswater label supports Noel's solo activities.
