This was the second time I have seen Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the first time was also in Perth when he was when he was playing on the Big Day Out festival tour nationwide in 2012. This gig was sold out and I left it too late to get a ticket so I ended paying for a way overpriced ticket off someone on a ticket resale site but it was too good not to miss and I couldn't bare with the fact I wasn't going to see Noel Gallagher and told my boss I had to leave work early for a "doctors appointment" when really I jumped in the car, picked a mate up and drove almost 500km's straight to the venune where the gig was arriving about an hour before it started. I had my trusty iPod classic with me so I decided i'd record the show for sentimentel value as Noel Gallagher's been a hero of mine since I first heard What's The Story in my early teens. Anyways as it's recorded with my iPod and the gig was indoors there's alot of distortion in the recording which is a real shame but hey it's recording with my ipod so it's not going to sound amazing! The only editting I've done is split the tracks and added the fade-in and fade-out and the beginning and end of the gig. I've uploaded it for any of you die hard Oasis and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds who may want it for archival reasons and just purely for listening. Enjoy!!!
