I attend quite a few shows at Express LIVE! and this was the first time I had seen them use reserved seating in the pit. When I bought the tickets I had no idea where the seats would be in accordance to the speakers. I took a guess and bought seat 36 in row G which ended up being slightly to the right of the right hanging stack. Next time I will aim for seat 25 or 26. This still turned out decent and the new material sounds great here. I purposely ignored the Detroit tour opener setlist the night prior and ended up being floored by the encore. "Dead In The Water" is a magnificent song but I felt like it may never be played in concert as it was a "bonus" track on "Who Built The Moon". Boy, was I glad I was wrong! It was far and away the highlight of the set for me. Following that up with "Go Let It Out" made this one really memorable. Out of all the Oasis tunes, I never would have guessed Noel bringing that one back out. Hell of a set with a surprise closing number, as well. Also note, Noel's band has had a few changes from the last album cycle, most notably Gem Archer (ex Oasis) on guitar. Chris Sharrock (ex Oasis) joined the HFB last year. Jessica Greenfield, Charlotte Marionneau & YSÉE are also featured as well.
