"Coming on Strong / Setting Sun" is an early version of the track that was later get released as a collaboration between Noel and the Chemical Brothers in 1996.
"Lock All The Doors" would later get re-worked and released by Noel as two different songs: the verse would turn into "My Sister Lover" (a b-side on the "Stand By Be" single in 1997) and "Lock All The Doors" on Chasing Yesterday in 2015.
Either recorded at the Boardwalk OR at the Real People Studios (or a mix of the two) in 1992/1993.
This tape surfaced in 2013 when it was offered for sale by britpop.uk store. Forum members clubbed together to raise funds and the tape was released to forum members:
As some of you know, i have been in contact with Rob from the britpop.uk store. He has offered me the tape for £1500. This is a piece of history so it would be great if we could chip in and make a purchase, here is some info on the tape that Rob sent me in a e-mail.
"The tape is a mix of recordings that were made at the Real peoples studio in Liverpool and The Broadwalk in Manchester between 1992/1993.
Guigsy made a copy of the tape in his bedroom hence why you can hear Pink Floyd at the end of the tape, he gave it to Tony French the guy who did the Oasis flag logo design on the original demos.. Recently he has moved to the USA but before he went a friend of his and Boneheads wife had just died so Tony gave it to him as he heard he was raising money for his wife\'s charity. This is when I came in to the story. I know Boneheads friend and Bonehead so I was offered the tape and bought it. As there was no track listings with the tape Bonehead and Tony McCarroll recently listened to it and that\'s how we know the track listing..All emails that I had will be given with history and a lifetime money back is given with it but the tape has no copyright with it . I have also been on TV Show Pawn Stars with the tape which will be on this year .I will send the track listing next
The price is £1500
from original email I had from Boneheads mate:
