comments
Anikii! is the best quality, most complete source of this show. (The "Hello Tokyo" intro cuts in abruptly on all other sources, this source fades in nicely with a few extra seconds before Liam's intro).
A girl in the crowd shouts "Anikii" just before Noel starts playing "Sad Song". He replies "Anarchy??" and the crowd laughs. ("Anikii" means "Big Brother" in Japanese - did the inspiration for the name of Noel and Liam's future record label from this tour...?)
2021 Update: It turns out that Oasis flew into Tokyo on September 13th and only played THREE nights at Quattro Tokyo: 14th, 15th and September. The
Official Oasis Gigography is wrong(!) - the "Japan Tour 1994" Itinarary confirms there was no gig on September 13th, and Paul Slattery's book "A Year on the Road" also confirms this timeline.
No need to hunt down the 1st appearance in Japan - we had it all along!
This means shows labelled "2nd Night" is really the 1st, 3rd is the 2nd and 4th is the 3rd night.
Thanks to Dai for figuring all of this out :)
