Audio CD/CDR Sources Due North (No Label, NOEL96) Getting High2 (The Network, CONV 001) You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (Spider Records, SPIDER12) Fillers The XFM Update The XFM Update XFm "Back on the Road with Oasis" Special 1999
Wonderwall is introduced by a female DJ while he is tuning his guitar ("Away you go then, boy"). You've Got To Hide Your Love Away contains a slightly longer outro where you hear the weird chord that Noel ends on, followed by the DJ laughing and asking "was that my cue for applause?"
Noel uses the lyric "A better place to pray" in the first verse of DLBIA
All the tracks on You've Got To Hide Your Love Away sounds like they are running too slow, however they all contain slightly longer takes with the DJ clapping and saying "ooh, yes - Noel Gallagher live on [cut]..."
Due North only contains "Don't Look Back in Anger" taken from a re-broadcast version of the song - it's introduced by a male presented cold as a pre-recorded session for XFM.
FillersThe Xfm Update contains the same three tracks (lifted from "Fillers") along with the interview from Getting High2 - the first two tracks seem to be from the 1st broadcast, and DLBIA from the 2nd broadcast (same version as Due North).
Getting High2 is a commercial 2CD interview set.
In the interview, Noel talks about:
Liam trying to chat up Justine from Elastica
Pressure of fame, Morning Glory Reviews
picks some songs to be played: Slade; Beck (Loser); Verve (This is Music); Cast
"Pay to Play" and Supporting other bands
mentions the Scooters he bought the band (that he later presents them with at Earl's Court)
If you've got a favourite version but don't know which session it's from, Noel changes up the lyrics ever so slightly in the bridge for the acoustic sessions in Oct/Nov/Dec '95:
Glastonbury Backstage - "And all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that lead the way are blinding"
XFM - "Cos all the roads we walk along are winding... and all the lights that guide us there are blinding".
GLR/Gary Crowley - "And all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that lead the way are blinding"
Virgin Radio/Zoo Session - "But all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that lead the way are blinding"
Capital Radio/Dr Fox - "And all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that led us there are blinding"
Fun Radio - "But all the roads we had to walk are winding... and all the lights that led the way were blinding"
Nulle Part Ailleurs - "But all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that lead the way are blinding"
Key 103 - "But all the roads we walked along were winding... and all the lights that led us there were blinding"
MuchMusic - "But all the roads we have to walk are winding... and all the lights that lead the way are blinding"
