Noel features on all vocals because Liam had a "sore throat". Incredible performance though. "Cum On Feel The Noize" bears no scars of Liam's absence, and "Wonderwall" is performed with a chello, a violin, Noel on acoustics and vocals, and Alan doing a little precussion in the background. One of the best versions around. Classic version of "Round Are Way" too with full brass section and harmonica.
During the interview Jools asks about Liam ("I hope I haven't given Liam my cold.") and Noel looks at the camera and says "I'll give him something when I see him".
When asked about his old music teacher, Noel looks at the camera and says that he has only one thing to say: "Do you want to borrow a tenner?"...
The original broadcast from 1995 has appeared on many unofficial VHS tapes traded between fans in varying quality. In 2015 the show was re-broadcast in HD (720p) on ZDFkultur in Germany.
