Release Notes
When I post after 9pm on a weeknight, you know the workday was total garbage. Without further Ado, here is the Oasis set from the second night of Almost Acoustic Xmas 1995!
Over the next few weeks, you will be getting full sets of all bands who played the KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas, directly off of the DAT master tape. Why? Well, audio to video synch wizard king bean asked for a couple of sets from the weekend of shows, and it just made sense to run the entire set of DATs and archive then now.... especially since they were DIC brand (a little taper humor for the nerds out there).
I moved back to Sacramento over Thanksgiving weekend of 1995, and this took place a month afterwards. HUGE thanks to Kevin Haynes for taping this for me, and then sending the DAT masters to me. What a guy.

Notes:
- This is a commercial-free broadcast of the second night of 2 sold-out shows!
- Tape delay was used in the actual broadcast. Changes in pitch/speed may have been due to their real-time editing/bleeping of curse words, etc.
Recording Lineage: December 18, 1995 Monday

Noel shouts "Seeya down the Viper Room!" at the end of Champagne Supernova - this was the location of their secret gig after the show. Well - it wasn't that secret as it was announced on a local radio station that morning. (Johnny Depp - owner of the Viper Room - had said to Liam: "If we don't keep it a secret it'll be chaos". Liam replied "Well let's have Chaos then!")
The Primus420 FM source claimed to be more complete than others but actually contains tracks from Glastonbury 1995 (likely from the same Westwood One promo containing the KROQ gig, this also contained tracks from Glastonbury 1995) (and, randomly, a repeat of "Live Forever").
Two Sides to Every Story and Forever Alone are both nice loud sources but are unfortunately incomplete. Step Out contained the whole show but is a lot quieter than other sources.
To my ears the Primus420 source is a bit weaker than the other FM sources (too much high end/treble) and the sound on Helter Skelter Christmas is a bit patchy. The best source of course is the Westwood One Promo CD that the radio stations used to air their respective broadcasts :)
