Release Notes:
The original is very rare, so Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab reissued the bootleg and corrected some errors from the original release: "Round Are Way / Up In The Sky" and "Morning Glory" are now split into separate tracks (Track 1-08 & 1-09) and the originally two separate interview tracks were merged into one (Track 2-07).

JILY was not Direct Transfer from Transcription Disc. because Disc 2 has hiss-noise, Maybe Bootlegger only could get Cassette Transfer or something.
This remaster was created from Direct Transfer, So This and Original Transcription Disc beat all Cardiff 1996 old bootlegs.
and Now we all drink Pepsi.

comments
One of the best sounding bootlegs of the band from this era. Most of the sources use the pre-FM Planet Live promo CDs but some were sourced from incomplete on-air FM broadcasts.
There was a rumour that Creation were going to release this show as a live album and J.I.L.Y even went so far as to labelling itself as a "Promo Only" release from Creation with catalogue number "CRE614P"(!).
When the show was being traded amongst fans in the late nineties the story went that this was mastered for release but was never given the green light.
What does "JILY" even stand for? Who knows. Some say it's a longstanding US acronym for "Jesus I Love You".
Another explanation is that "Junko" is a common female name in Japanese and could be the girlfriend's name of the original bootlegger that released the original J.I.L.Y. [Unreleased live Album] (CRE CD613/614P)...
South Wales '96 contains edited highlights from a European Planet Live broadcast on "Power 98", along with two bonus tracks from the Paris Bataclan gig the previous year.
Hot in the City claims to be from the previous night but is the same source as The Fab Five - both releases only contain the first 11 tracks and Liam opens Acquiesce by asking the crowd:
"You've had a good night so far, yeah? Heavy Stereo, respect...."
Noel teases the crowd by asking "do you want to hear a new song? Well ya can't...." before they launch into "Round Are Way".
Noel does a (mostly) instrumental version of "Wonderwall" here, in which the crowd sings every single word for him. Afterwards, he says "Better than church innit?"
Includes a rare electric version of "Round Are Way", and the last recorded UK performance of "Shakermaker" for a while.
This is truly and end of an era, being the bands last 2 indoor gigs in the UK until September 1997.
2023 Update: the show originally traded hands labeled as Match 18th, but in later years most collectors agreed it was probably the 19th - especially after silver CD releases like J.I.L.Y specifically billed it as the 19th). However @axos on the Live4Ever forum has done some brilliant sleuthing to determine that the original date of the 18th was in fact correct:
Liam mentions the support band Heavy Stereo in the intro to Acqueiesce: "Have you had a good night so far? Heavy Stereo, respect!" Heavy Stereo supported on the first night (18th) with the Manic Street Preachers in the support slot for the second slot (19th).
At the end of Wonderwall Noel muses about how Manchester United were beaten that night and that Newcastle were now top of the Premier League. (This happened on the 18th).
