One of the Holy Grails for Oasis collectors, The Mustique Demos, were finally officially released as a bonus disc for 2016's Be Here Now: Chasing The Sun Remaster.
After the launch fans noticed that the track listed as "Trip Inside" didn't sound anything like Be Here Now. It turns out advance promo copies of the release contained the genuine Mustique Demo for "Be Here Now", clocking in at 4:48. The official release contained a completely different instrumental as Track 8. Sony/Ignition NEVER made a public statement to acknowledge the reason, but many suspect that an uncleared sample on the original demo was discovered at the last minute and so the track was pulled and the random instrumental was swapped in. The scarce 3CD promo version of this release now sells for several hundred pounds as a result:
