40,000 people watched this warm-up for the Knebworth shows...
Liam starts the show by saying: "Good to see ya, alright? You're all looking great - are you happy?".
Noel has to take over the vocals halfway through Champagne Supernova.
There are two DAT sources available - one fades in on Liam's intro to "Columbia", the other is complete and includes crowd counting down to "The Swamp Song". Both seem to be the same original recording - both have a cut version of "Live Forever" which is missing the first 90 seconds (opening on Liam asking for "some lights on the kids man".)
People's Band 1996 on the Midnight Dreamer label uses the second (more complete) of the two DAT sources and still have the cut in "Live Forever".
The show was also broadcast online via RealAudio and the webcast - although VERY ropey - includes the full version of "Live Forever". This source doesn't seem to have shown up on any bootlegs.
In more recent years an audience-shot video surfaced online with a limited number of tracks, including "Live Forever" which was used as a source for the Thieving Magpie Remasters in 2021 and 2022.
Loch n Roll Stars from Bayswater includes a patched Live Forever from the video source (along with the original audio) and also includes bonus "DOCUMENTARY & INTERVIEWS".

"A gang of us (eight) went to Scotland to see this show rather than go to Knebworth primarily because Knebworth is huge (125,000) compared to this venue. The location was nice and the weather was OK too. The support acts as I recall were a scottish band that I don't remember other than they were alright, Bootleg Beatles (OK), Ocean Colour Shite (read what you will into that) and Black Grape who I thought were better than Oasis on the night. Oasis I felt were very disappointing and it is difficult to pinpoint why. Perhaps our expectations were too high (especially after the Barcelona gig 2/4/1996). The sound was not very good and the two new numbers did not seem as powerful as the older material, although the firework display at the end was good. They were better a week later a Knebworth where the show had more swagger to it.
If anybody has a complete copy of this show I would be very interested as I obviously want copies of the shows I attended.
