Introduced by DJ Gigi Auriemma. Most sources list this session as being broadcast on July 15th 1997 but The Lost Interview Sessions Vol.2 (which contains the whole show, interview and songs) lists it as July 14th, 1997.

Noel mentions that alongside "Heroes" they also recorded "Helter Skelter" in the studio for a future b-side. He quickly retracts it.

While The Lost Interview Sessions Vol.2 is not quite as good a source as the others, it does at least contain the whole show and is a genuine FM source captured to (lossless) Audio CD. ALL of the other sources in circulation look like they have been source from MP3s or MiniDisc, ie. they have a 15KHz cutoff and low actual bitrates:

  • The Best Act in the World - 160kbps
  • Live at the Hoirzon - 192kbps
  • Little James - 192kbps / 128 kbps
  • Please Hear Now - 256kbps
  • Standing in Europe - 653kbps
  • The Lost Interview Sessions - 889kbps
Over the years some sources have listed an acoustic version of "Stay Young" as being played during this session, but thanks to The Lost Interview Sessions Vol.2 we know that Noel only played two songs: "D'You Know What I Mean" and "Setting Sun".

The Be Here Now Remaster lists "Setting Sun (Acoustic)" as being from this session, but really they used the version from the Cadena 40 session.
