Noel opens the show by saying "Good Evening Birmingham. As he would say, 'Are you Mad-For-It'?"
Sing Me Something New (catalogue number "BOB3") was one of the first few Oasis bootleg releases on 2x (green!) CDRs with colour laser-copied artwork in the late nineties (along Spreading The Word - BOB1) and It's a Knockout - BOB2) and was later cloned by R&A Music in Scotland: same name and (slightly blurry) 2nd gen colour photocopy of the original artwork. Great sounding recording, but is unfortunately cut between songs (some tracks have a few seconds of silence between them!) rather than a continuous recording (no idea why given they had 2x CDRs of space to play with).
The Devil's Refugee uses the same source as Sing Me Something New but is missing 5 tracks.
Earl's Court '97 (3rd Night) Complete contains the missing songs from The Devil's Refugee ("Supersonic", "Some Might Say", "Roll With It", "Don't Look Back In Anger" and "Wonderwall") as bonus tracks.
Sing Me Something New was cloned for the release Be Here Now Live '97 Act.16 on the "Rollercoaster Supernova" label in Japan issued in 2004. Some of the tracks are a couple of seconds shorter than on the original as the silences have been removed. This was followed by a reissue on "Betrayer" records in 2008.
The DAT Source (aka "The Day After the Shag" and "It's Getting Better Brum") is a new (and complete) DAT master. Sing Me Something New is still the better quality source, but is unfortunately cut in-between songs.
