Interview with Noel and Liam [52:58]
Taper Notes:
This is THAT interview from October 1997. The first time Liam and Noel had been interviewed for 3 years. Noel turned up drunk and Liam turned up Proper Pissed.
A very funny interview, which includes Liam offering The Rolling Stones and George Harrisson out for a fight, and Liam & Noel taking the piss out of each other.
Noel and Liam crash Steve Lamacq's BBC Radio 1 studio in this ebullient and legendary interview filled with fighting talk, ferocious argument and lots of effing and blinding.
This is uncut audio from the BBC Archive.
Presenter & Producer: David Hyde

comments
A live interview with Noel and Liam. The first interview of the brothers together for years for which the BBC got tens of complaints because of the bad language and insults.
Liam ends up storming out of the studio after Noel continuously takes the piss out of him, they're both totally wrecked.
Halfway through, The DJ Steve Lemacq says "if you're offended by the language used in this programme in any way, turn off, that's our advice!."
25 years after the original broadcast an "Uncut" version was put out by BBC Sounds for their "RAW" segment with segments never previously broadcast.
