One of the best performances in 1997 tour history, no Oasis history Manchester G-MEX 1997 items appeared from the Oasis specialty “Supersonic” label! The second in 2021 from the new oasis specialty label “Supersonic”. The familiar triumphant return performance G-MEX, which is very popular among the many famous performances of Oasis. The 2021 remastered version is fully released. The difference is clear when compared to the former G-MEX board. Great sound quality with careful editing in the latest 2021 24-bit digital remaster. The missing “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, “Cigarettes & Alcohol”, and “Acquiesce” are complemented with different sources and edited without any discomfort. REMASTER & REMIX OF STEREO SOUNDBOARD RECORDING UPGRADE
"This is the most anticipated work of 2024, and a title that can be recommended with absolute confidence not only to Oasis fans but to all rock fans has finally arrived! A must-see! From the 1997 Be Here Now tour, the performance at G-MEX in Manchester on December 14th! The SBD sound source of this famous live performance is finally here, thoroughly remastered and remixed in 2024! As the shocking release "DUBLIN 1997 FINAL NIGHT: REMASTER & REMIX" proves, the 1997 frenzy "BE HERE NOW" is one of the most popular live performances among enthusiasts in Oasis's live career. NOW tour. The final show of the tour was held in Dublin in December, and the super-classic stereo soundboard live performance from December was held at G-MEX in Manchester, their hometown. As if to symbolize the height of Oasis's power at the time, it is known that many sources have been left behind, such as live TV broadcasts, FM broadcasts, and even later TV highlights. And above all, the content is amazing! The members' tension was abnormally high, and it was a masterpiece that reached its peak. It is a masterpiece that reigns at the top of the top throughout Oasis' career. Naturally, various items have been released from the G-MEX performance since then, starting with "BACK WHERE WE BELONG" on the (European) Kobra label, Flushbulb's "LISTEN TO THIS THOM", and in 2007, Bayswater released "BAGLIM" as a revised version of those. More recently, Supersonic's "ULTIMATE G-MEX Titles such as "Ultima G-MEX 1997 Extreme Edition" were also released. However, even the classic "BAGLIM" was released 17 years ago. Looking at it from the perspective of 2024, when mastering technology has made great advances, there are many parts where the editing is extremely rough. For example, "Champagne Supernova" has severe editing roughness due to dropouts, and "Cigarettes & Alcohol" also has a problem with the sound quality changing suddenly after the performance ends. In addition, the unique equalization that does not make use of the thick guitar sound that is the highlight of the "BE HERE NOW" tour was also a point of concern. On the other hand, "ULTIMATE G-MEX 1997 Extreme Edition" is not only roughly edited, but also has too much sound pressure. As a result, there is no title that can be called the true definitive version, and it has been a frustrating situation for enthusiasts. All of this has been resolved with this release! The same master craftsman of our shop, who has worked on the most recent Oasis titles such as "DEFINITIVE MAINE ROAD 1996: 2 DAYS REMASTER & REMIX", has finally touched the treasure that is the 1997 Holy Scripture Soundboard G-MEX! Naturally, it is not a copy of the net source or trade source, but a unique sound source that can only be heard with this title. Let's explain the details of each sound source below. To make the perfect dish, you need the perfect ingredients. This time, the source used is the height of precision. Based on the main BBC radio broadcast, various official sources such as MTV live broadcast, DTV highlight broadcast version, Promo CD, "Don't Go Away" single, and even the compilation CD "ROCK THE DOCK" by Creation Records are used. Of particular interest is the DTV highlight version, which was previously a sound source limited to traders, but is now available for the first time in this release! First of all, the dropouts seen in the radio broadcast version of "Some Might Say" are carefully compensated for with the MTV sound source. Next, "Don't Look Back In Anger" was replaced with the "ROCK THE DOCK" take, and "Cigarettes & Alcohol" was replaced with the "Don't Go Away" single take, improving the sound quality of the song. Furthermore, part of Noel's MC after "Fade In-Out" was only included in the highlight version, and "Champagne Supernova", which had a dropout in the live broadcast version, was compensated for with the DTV highlight version. In addition, John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)", the exit SE from the feedback after "Acquiesce", was compensated for from the Promo CD. Of course, please rest assured that these compensations are (at all!) inconspicuous and meticulous editing. As you can see, the thorough editing alone sets this album apart from past items, but in order to pursue even greater quality, a high-quality remix was also carried out. First, Liam's vocals were made more vivid, and the bass part of Alan's drums was moved to the center channel to adjust it to a natural band sound. Also, the guitar mix in the original broadcast mix was bad, and it could not be said that it embodied the loud sound unique to the "BE HERE NOW" period, so the clarity and texture of Noel's guitar were also adjusted. In this way, the method of realizing the sound of the "BE HERE NOW" period without falling into the seaweed waveform is now a miracle. It is said that "God is in the details," and I can say with confidence that this title is a fitting finish. As mentioned at the beginning, this G-MEX performance is a famous live performance that competes for the first and second place among the many live recordings of Oasis. Liam, who had a bad throat in Dublin, is fully recovered in his hometown of Manchester. Not only did he recover, but he showed vocals that can be said to be his best performance ever. The singing on this day's "Be Here Now", "Stay Young", "Don't Go Away", and "All Around The World" are the best examples. On the other hand, Noel's excitement was also clearly at its peak from the moment he appeared on stage, and the guitar solos in "It's Getting' Better (Man!!)" and "Champagne Supernova" in the latter half were simply spectacular. In the first place, "Stay Young" and "All Around The World" were dropped from the setlist the following year, and the band and Liam vocal versions of "Don't Go Away" and "Fade In-Out" were also changed to Noel's acoustic version the following year, so in that sense it is a very valuable live performance. Although this is a once-in-a-lifetime famous sound source that captured the famous scenes and performances of 1997 with the best stereo soundboard recording, no satisfactory items were produced at the G-MEX performance. Using meticulous source selection and the latest technology, this is a must-have item for all Oasis fans, from enthusiasts to beginners, as it literally sweeps away all previously released titles!"

    This is another rip made by me taken from the MTV Latin Broadcast in 97, this is the version exactly how we see the gig here in Latin America (incomplete)
    In 1998 MTV Latin used to broadcast an edit version that probably is this Champagne Supernova version.
    I have the incomplete version also in a way better quality, hope to upload soon.

    Listen to This Thom is slightly clearer than Back Where We Belong.
    
    Live at G-MEX and Back Where We Belong are clones of each other, not sure which release came first.
    
    Rock The Dock lists the performance as from Earls Court, but really only the spoken intro from Noel is from that date - the performance itself is from this show.
    
    "Acquiesce" was mixed as a promo video (interspersed with tour footage) and released to stations like MTV. It also appeared as a bonus track on the DVD for Time Flies... 1994-2009
