"noelsoasis" Source [0:51:28 / 0:42:01] « actually Akron 2000
commentsMost of the the versions of this show in circulation are the same source which is in fact Live in Akron (you can hear a girl say "say f**kin hello" just before Liam announces "Supersonic). Now it's not 100% clear whether this recording was taped at Murat Center Indianapolis or Akron, Ohio but my money is on Akron, Ohio: the gig was on Good Friday and Liam dedicates "Rock n Roll Star" to "the geezer who died on the cross"... Of the Akron sources, Indianapolis 2000 is the most complete - the rips shared by "johnky" and "noelsoasis" have a couple of seconds trimmed from most of the songs for some reason. The MP3 Source of Indianapolis 2000 is a GENUINE recording (well, most likely) of this show. It's definitely a different show to the Akron 2000 recording and there are Lots of references to support Travis by Noel throughout the night: Noel dedicates "Who Feels Love?" to Travis ("especially Knuckles the singer"). Liam dedicates "Acquiesce" to Travis ("and all the people who were on Magic Bus last night..."). Before the band start on Acquiesce Noel tells the crowd "you know what, you might read in the paper that the singer out of Travis is the nicest man in pop, but he's actually a fucking nasty piece of work..."
