Release Notes
Lineage: CDR->EAC->WAV->Foobar 2000 V1.5.4 (merge tracks into 1 file)->iZotope Ozone 9 (EQ adjustments)->Audacity V2.4.1 (split tracks into separate files again and convert to Flac Level 8). All tracks tagged using Foobar 2000.

I attended this show and can vouch for it being top notch. The atmosphere was incredible - the band were on fire, the audience were really into it, and they actually had a decent album to promote at the time. I had attended the mess that was the 1998 Australian tour, and this was a complete reversal from the shambles of that tour. This was a side show to the Livid Festival the band were doing in Australia, and I remember it sold out almost instantly when tickets went on sale, the Forum being a pretty intimate venue for a band of Oasis' popularity. Tickets were in very high demand. A show I'll never forget attending, and thankfully thanks to this recording can relive at any time!

Recording notes: While I don't know what equipment was used, this is an excellent audience recording. I received it on CDR many many years ago and it sat in a folder forgotten about until these Covid 19 times prompted me to start going through my collection. I gave it an EQ adjustment in iZotope Ozone 9 to make it sound even better.

Torrent notes: Going through the Dime archives it appears this was uploaded to Dime on 9 November 2010 by alexburatti. I didn't download that torrent so can't vouch whether this is the same recording, but I suspect it is. This torrent differs as I have remastered it, and removed the CD 1/2 distinction (it was after Acquiesce if you care). I also tagged all the files, and added a photo of the poster of the show that I proudly own. Enjoy!

The majority of shows in circulation labelled as Melbourne Forum (1st Night) ("two-rok", "johnky" and "NoelsOasis") are from the same source. The Roman29 source is a different (inferior) audience source. The "eckythump" 2020 Remaster uses the better quality source.
