Release Notes
This “MANS FIELD 2005” supplemented the rare repertoire “Love Like A Bomb” that had been cut from the standard broadcast sound source of the “DON’T BELIEVE THE TRUTH” tour by audience recording, but the same song as a gift Audience recording rare sound source of the other day that played the song will be attached only for the first delivery.
In the first place, the sound source of the short-term American tour in June when “Love Like” was played is valuable, and since there is no sound board recording other than Mansfield, no item has been released so far. Because of that, it was also a time when only enthusiastic enthusiasts could hear it.
Attached as a gift this time is the Detroit performance that took place about a week before Mansfield. This is an audience recording, but this is a pretty good sound quality. Although it is a sound image with a unique depth, it is said that the performance centered on Liam Gallagher’s singing voice can be heard firmly. Still, the point is that the excitement of the surroundings is not bothersome. With this level of recording quality, even beginners can enjoy it.
Like Mansfield, Liam is in really good shape on this day. In September, when the tour continued in the same United States, Liam wasn’t happy because he saw it, and there were many days when he sang with a growl. In that respect, it’s good that he sang well on this day.
“Love Like A Bomb” to be performed in this momentum is quite good, but it seems that the position at the beginning of the concert does not make it look like a stage. Besides, the reaction of the Detroit audience is undeniably dull for this song (thanks to it, it’s easier to hear lol) I tried to continue playing only in June, but it’s no good … Probably. And from July, a version of “Guess God Thinks I’m Abel” with an electric arrangement will appear as an alternative “DON’T BELIEVE THE TRUTH” repertoire.
In the first place, the US tour in June has many positive topics such as the first Madison Square Garden, and it is good that the momentum is transmitted from the whole performance. Although not as good as MSG, the excitement of the whole concert on this day was considerable, such as a big chorus at “Champagne Supernova”. It feels good to hear this again.
As a result, “Love Like A Bomb” is a sad luck that was given up before the stage shines, although it has potential. More than that, it comes with a full audience album with good sound quality that captured June 2005 of a good oasis including Liam (Zak Starkey at the ending of “Rock’N’ Roll Star” is also spectacular!) I will. Don’t miss this precious sound source!
