Technical notes: Transferred though a Sony MZ-RH1 Minidisc recorder. It is capable of ripping Sony ATRAC files to a wav file and therefore removes any lineage from real time transfers, typically through the D/A of the MD recorder (analogue transfer through the headphone socket). Quality of the transfer is noticeably better than previous transfers. Having transferred some 500 MDs to archive, I am now selling my Sony MZ-RH1
