The eve before this tour I discovered that not only my D-100 was dead but also my mics where broken as well.
Que a series of gigs with the trusty D7 and microphone box balanced on top! Not an easy feat after several beers!
Anyway, with this recording I did my best to balance the recorder and battery box to keep the faulty wires giving a stereo feed to the DAT.
Where it had dropped out etc. I have clone one channel over the other so it doesn't effect the listening too much!
I don't think I have ever shared this properly mainly due to the fact that I only finished restoring this today.
To be fair it's a great recording of a top gig. An amazing start to a tour that ended so shambolically!
Love and Peace TB!!!
