comments

Liam opens the show by asking the crowd: "Alright Norway, y'alright?".

Both See! Hear! Now! and Start Here Now use the same source.

Start Here Now also includes the following bonus Tracks: ...although the Simon Mayo session is (incorrectly) listed as part of the Glastonbury set.

fan memories

"First night of the Be Here Now tour and it was quite exciting. We already had tickets for the opening show of the UK tour in Exeter the following week and this short Scandinavian tour was a warm up for that I think. Anyway the show was OK and the Norwegians were not moving about that much. This was the first Oasis show I taped, unfortunately the mic was crap and apart from The Faces intro song the complete set was so distorted it was unlistenable (anybody got a copy to burn). The memorable thing about thgis show was the following morning we went to the local McDonalds (Norway is sooooo expensive) and Liam walked past. We ran out after him and had a little chat and our photo's taken with him by his minder Terry O'Neil (who is credited on Be Here Now) and we were offered the guest list plus VIP passes for either the rest of the Scandinavian shows, which we couldn't go to because our flight home was later that day, or Exeter, which although we already had tickets accepted anyway (I don't know why we did not ask for tickets for the second Exeter show instead of the one we already had tickets for, I guess we were so excited about meeting Liam and forgot ourselves. Anyway this was handy later as I was able to get tickets and passes for Dublin (2nd and 3rd nights) and Cardiff (both nights, which I taped).

The show was forgetable after this.
